Go Green Week 2016: some things we did at BHT

This last week was Go Green Week. Different parts of BHT have been reporting on what they have done this week and throughout the year to reduce their carbon footprint, save energy and, as a result, save money.

For my part and those of my colleagues at BHT’s head office, over the last year we recycled 3,900kg of waste, saving 5,660kg of CO2 which equates to 38 trees.

For both environmental and health reasons, I am walking much more between meetings.

It might not be that much but at least we are trying to do our bit. What have you done and what advice could you give me to improve our carbon footprint?

Postscript (added 19.07 07/02/16): this one minute clip from the Guardian is very thought-provoking
