Last weekend I blogged about the fundraising efforts of sisters Bobbie and Milly from Brighton who organised a cake sale to raise funds for First Base Day Centre.
Earlier this year another two sisters, Vita (aged 8) and Gloria (6) from Shoreham, sold their Easter eggs to raise funds for First Base because they were so concerned about the people who are living on the streets.
On Friday their dad brought them to my office to hand over yet more funds they and their friends had raised by doing a sponsored walk. This time they had raised an astonishing £481.
How can you not be inspired by such amazing efforts, and filled with hope that we have a new generation coming through who have such awareness and commitment to social justice?
